Chiaromonte - Primitivo di Gioia del Colle Riserva 2014

The story of Tenute Chiaromonte began with the recognition of the Primitivo vine and a family’s passion for the land, passed down through generations. In a pivotal moment, Nicola Chiaromonte took over the winery, transforming it into a celebrated producer of Primitivo. Today, alongside Paolo Montanaro, Nicola manages over 60 hectares of organic vineyards and centuries-old olive groves.
The Primitivo Riserva 2014 from Chiaromonte is a remarkable example of the power and elegance of Primitivo from Gioia del Colle. Crafted from old vines grown on calcareous soils, this wine embodies the region’s rich winemaking heritage. This Riserva offers deep aromas of blackberries, plums, and dried figs, with hints of cocoa, tobacco, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish.
