If you have terrible thoughts of Moscato, this one is going to shock you. Fabio Perrone’s Moscato d'Asti is a delightful expression of the Moscato Bianco grape, cultivated in the calcareous and sandy soils of Piedmont, which they have done for generations. This semi-sparkling wine is known for its low alcohol content and natural sweetness, achieved through a gentle fermentation process in stainless steel tanks. The Moscato d'Asti is bottled young to preserve its fresh, fruity character and lively acidity, making it a perfect aperitif or dessert wine.

This is literally one of the most refreshing, elegant and light moscatos that exist with beautiful notes of elderflower, peaches, apricots and orange blossoms - it’s like Springtime in a glass.

Fabio Perrone

Mario planted the first vines of the Perrone winery in the 1970s, followed by Mauro, and now Fabio manages the estate. Trained at Alba’s oenological school, he carefully tends 19 hectares of vineyards. His Moscato d’Asti—light, aromatic, with notes of elderflower, apricot, and spring blossoms—is made from hand-harvested grapes and fermented in cool stainless steel, reflecting the character of Piedmont’s terraced hills and limestone soils.
