La Colombera - Vegia Rampana

From the rolling hills of Tortona in southern Piedmont, La Colombera's Vegia Rampana is a pure Barbera that reflects the region's rich viticultural heritage. The vineyards, located in the village of Vho, are characterized by clayey soils interspersed with limestone, contributing to the wine's elegance and aromatic complexity. Aged in steel, Vegia Rampana is a long-lived wine, reaching its peak about eight years after the harvest. Under the stewardship of Elisa Semino since 1997, La Colombera has transformed from a traditional family farm into a producer of high-quality wines, focusing on native grape varieties and sustainable practices.
