SRC - Alberello 2021

SRC is a small, boutique winery located on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, where the volcanic soils and high-altitude vineyards create a unique environment for growing Nerello Mascalese. Winemakers Rori and Cinzia Di Gaetano are dedicated to organic farming and minimal intervention, letting the terroir and grape speak for themselves. Their philosophy is to create wines that are fresh, elegant, and full of character.

The 2021 Etna Rosso Alberello is made from Nerello Mascalese, a variety known for its bright acidity and delicate flavors. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in large oak barrels to preserve its freshness. It presents aromas of red berries, herbs, and earthy notes, with a touch of smokiness from the volcanic soils, fine tannins and flavors of cherry, raspberry, and a hint of minerality.
