Alice Bonaccorsi - Etna Bianco 2012 Limited Edition

2012 is one of those years the people of Etna won't easily forget, a difficult year due to the early beginning of the vegetative period and a very hot summer, which followed the last rains taking place at the start of May. A vintage to remember not only for it's difficulties but also for the amazing whites that came out of it. The Etna Bianco 2012 Limited Edition from Alice Bonaccorsi in particular is the product of patience and dedication, after a year on the fine lees the wine was deemed to not be elegant enough, thus it prolonged it's stay on the lees, time and time again, until finally making it to the bottle 4 years later. The journey did not end there, the wine was left in the bottles for another couple years to continue developing, until finally making it to our glasses today.
