Antonio Mele grew up in Mamoiada, a small mountain village in the heart of Sardinia where grape growing has always been part of daily life. For years, his family cultivated vines and sold the grapes, as many others did. But in 2010, Antonio chose a different path—he began making wine himself, wanting to give value and identity to something that had always been there.
His approach is quiet and thoughtful. He works organically, by hand, and keeps things simple in the cellar,. There’s no rush, no excess. Just clean, expressive Cannonau that carries the imprint of the land and the people who work it.
