Arteteke - Russè

Russè is a bold, pure expression of Aglianico, produced in the volcanic zone of Vulture in Basilicata. The project Arteteke was born with a social mission—creating inclusive work opportunities—and the wines reflect this deep sense of care and responsibility. The grapes for Russè are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in concrete, where the wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging. This choice preserves the fruit’s intensity while allowing it to evolve with elegance. The nose reveals dark berries, plum, and earthy undertones, while the palate is full, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity. The volcanic soils lend the wine tension and minerality. Russè is both a soulful red and a symbol of community and purpose.
