Calcabrina - Lacrima

Fattoria Calcabrina, a family-owned winery in Umbria, is dedicated to producing wines that reflect the unique characteristics of their region. The Grechetto Lacrima is a macerated white wine, crafted from Grechetto grapes grown in calcareous clay soils, which impart a distinctive minerality to the wine. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, followed by aging on the lees for several months. This approach enhances the wine’s texture and complexity while preserving its natural acidity.
