Palladino is a traditional Barolo producer located in the village of Serralunga d’Alba, where winemaker Maurilio Palladino continues the family’s legacy of crafting powerful, long-lived wines. Maurilio’s philosophy is to create wines that express the unique terroir of Barolo, with a focus on balance, structure, and elegance. He practices sustainable farming and extended aging in large oak casks, following the traditional Barolo method.
The Barolo Ornato comes from one of the best cru in the Serralunga d'Alba. The wine is aged for 24months in large oak casks, followed by additional bottle aging. It shows a garnet ruby red colour. Elegant on the nose, which delicately releases fruity and floral notes, enriched with nuances tending towards rhubarb and sweet spices. In the mouth shows great structure, of excellent persistence.

Cantina Palladino

Nestled in the heart of Serralunga d’Alba, Cantina Palladino was founded in 1974 by Piero Palladino, who returned to his native Langhe and entrusted the cellar to his cousin Maurilio. Today, Maurilio works alongside his wife Domenica, their children Veronica, Alessandro, Margherita, and cousins Luca and Matteo, forming a family singular in devotion. Housed in a former convent, their winery is perched where Cannubi meets Brunate—each vineyard yields expressions of steep limestone and clay that whisper in the bottle. Through manual labor, long ferments in steel, gentle malolactics in cement, and patient aging in large oak casks, they produce Barolos that are both powerful and graceful, reflections of lineage, land, and commitment folded into every vintage.
