From the heart of Sardinia, Cantine di Neoneli's Canales 2018 is a unique blend of approximately ten native grape varieties, including Pascale, Cannonau, Monica, Muristellu, Carignano, Cagnulari, Cinsault, Nieddu Mannu, and Nieddu Saludu. The grapes are sourced from old bush-trained vines, each vineyard covering less than half a hectare at altitudes between 450 and 550 meters. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in wooden barrels and an additional six months in the bottle. This unfiltered wine reflects the dedication of Marco, Samuel, and Salvatore, three friends committed to preserving the identity and traditions of their territory.

Cantine di Neoneli

In the heart of Barbagia, three friends—Samuel, Marco, and Salvatore—joined forces to revive their village’s fading vineyards and traditions. At around 500 meters above sea level, on granite and sandy soils, they farm Cannonau and other native varieties organically, harvesting by hand. In the cellar, fermentations rise freely, and aging unfolds in cement and neutral wood, giving wines their rugged soul and humble grace.
