Cascina Ca' Rossa - Roero DOCG Le Coste

Roero Arneis by Ca' Rossa is a crisp and aromatic white wine, crafted from Arneis grapes grown on the sandy soils of Roero. It is vinified and aged exclusively in steel.  

The vineyards are located near Canale d'Alba and Santo Stefano Roero at an altitude of approximately 200-250 meters above sea level and the exposure of the plots, characterized by a sandy subsoil with the presence of marl and clay, faces south. The manual harvesting of the bunches, grown according to organic farming, takes place during the first ten days of September. After pressing, the must is placed in steel silos for alcoholic fermentation. The final refinement lasts two months and is carried out in steel. At the end of this short period the wine is bottled, and after two months of further maturation in glass it is ready to be released on the market.
