Fatto coi Piedi” (literally “Made with the Feet”) is more than a name—it’s a declaration of intent. This orange wine is crafted from a blend of local white grapes, including Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo, and Trebbiano, sourced from old vines in the Val Tidone hills of Emilia-Romagna. The grapes are organically farmed and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts, undergoing skin contact to develop its distinctive amber hue and complex texture. Unfiltered and with no added sulfites, the wine offers intense aromatic notes, a slight tannic grip, and a savory, saline finish. It's a versatile companion to rich dishes like saffron risotto, carbonara, or roasted white meats, and pairs exceptionally well with spicy cuisines and fatty meats such as lard and bacon.

Filarole

In the green folds of the Colli Piacentini, Andrea Cervini and Giorgia Finzi tend just a few hectares of old vines scattered among woods and meadows, often so steep they can only be worked by hand. Their soils are a patchwork of clay, limestone, and sandstone, holding Barbera, Croatina, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, and other local grapes that once risked disappearing. They farm organically and with patience, letting biodiversity guide the rhythm of their work. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous, vessels are cement or old wood, and nothing is filtered or forced. Their wines—bright, rustic, and alive—speak of simplicity and honesty, carrying the untamed freshness of Emilia’s hills.
