Tzappù is a genuine Cannonau produced by Cantina Siotto.
Gianfranco Siotto was born in 1967, he is a firefighter by profession but his family has been producing bulk wine for four generations. This winemaker has been considered the best producer of bulk wine in Mamoiada for many years. This is the first year that he bottles his wine and we can proudly say that it is all Rimessa Roscioli’s fault.

"Tzappu" is the result of two very small vineyards, one about 20 years old, the other 60-70 years old for a total of just over one hectar, grown in the mineral-rich soils of Mamoiada, in Sardinia island. We are really talking about a very confidential production.

A firefighter by night and a fourth-generation winemaker by heritage, Gianfranco Siotto chose to honor his family’s legacy in Mamoiada by making wine of his own. Harvesting just over one hectare across two small plots—one about 20 years old, the other 60–70—he coaxed Cannonau from mineral-rich, sandy-granite soils into being. . His first release, Tzappù, has a balanced power, red fruits, blood orange, Mediterranean herbs, and a whisper of wild mint.
