Macondo

Lorenzo Catasta left his office job at 40 to follow a new path—he planted two tiny vineyards near Cupra Marittima and Montefiore dell’Aso in the Marche and founded Macondo. He works entirely by hand, with minimal intervention and very low yields, to craft his white wines from Trebbiano and Pecorino. The result are wines with clarity of personality, structured enough to age yet fresh enough to drink young—an honest expression of the coast, the varieties, and Lorenzo’s commitment to quality.
