Terzavia Riserva is the Metodo Classico interpretation of Vecchio Samperi, produced by Marco De Bartoli from Grillo grown in western Sicily. The wine is made following the traditional method, with long aging on the lees to build depth and definition while preserving clarity. De Bartoli conceived Terzavia as a bridge between Sicily’s oxidative wine heritage and classic sparkling wine traditions. A structured, dry sparkling wine rooted in place and in one of Sicily’s most influential winemaking projects.

Marco De Bartoli was a pivotal figure in Sicilian wine, known for challenging the decline of traditional Marsala and rebuilding it through quality and transparency. What began as his personal mission has become a family project: today his children carry the work forward with the same direct and uncompromising style. The winery produces both classic Marsala and dry wines from native grapes, always with tight control over farming and minimal cellar intervention. There is a clear continuity in their approach — precise, steady, and rooted in decisions made at the vineyard rather than in the cellar. It remains one of the most recognizable and respected family estates in Sicily.
