Devidda by Pasquale Bonamici is a robust Cannonau that showcases the winemaker’s commitment to Sardinian winemaking traditions. The vineyards, situated on granite and sandy soils, are farmed sustainably, with no synthetic chemicals used. Pasquale believes in letting nature guide the process, with spontaneous fermentations and minimal intervention. The wine is aged in neutral oak barrels to preserve its natural character while adding depth and structure. Pasquale’s philosophy is to honor the island’s heritage and produce wines that are true to their origins. Devidda is an unfiltered and unclarified wine obtained with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and only produded in the best years. Vines are located at about 750 meters above the sea. Very limited production of about 375 cases per year.
