Lambrusco Grasparossa

Podere Cipolla, led by Denny Bini, is a small winery located in Coviolo, near Reggio Emilia, renowned for its artisanal Lambrusco wines that honor local traditions. Established in 2003, the estate cultivates native grape varieties, including Lambrusco Grasparossa, following organic farming principles. 'Libeccio 225' is a sparkling red wine made exclusively from Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes. It showcases a bright ruby red color with a lively purple froth. The bouquet reveals aromas of dark berries and  tobacco, embodying the rustic spirit of the Reggio Emilia hills.

Podere Cipolla

Denny Bini's adventure began in 2003 in Coviolo, just outside Reggio Emilia, when he planted his first Lambrusco vines on land rented from his grandfather and, with youthful audacity, fermented his wine in his home garage. Today, he tends just over three hectares of vineyards at about 150 meters above sea level—growing an expressive cast of native grapes: the full Lambrusco family (Grasparossa, Salamino, Sorbara, Maestri, Montericco) alongside Malbo Gentile, Spergola, and Malvasia. Farmed organically amid rich biodiversity, each wine mirrors rustic sincerity and terroir and every bottle bursts with exuberance and fine bubbles.
