Simone Scaletta - Barolo Bricco San Pietro 2014

A newcomer to Barolo in origin but not in spirit, Simone Scaletta planted his first vines in Monforte d’Alba after trading city life in Turin for the slow rhythm of farming. This 2014 Barolo comes from his Bricco San Pietro vineyard, and expresses the lighter, more refined character of this vintage. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in large barrels, it balances gentle tannins with bright fruit and floral notes. A pure and composed expression from a producer who crafts wines with honesty and time.
