SRC - Barbabecchi 2020

SRC is a boutique winery located on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, where husband-and-wife team craft natural wines that reflect the unique volcanic terroir. Their philosophy centers on minimal intervention in both the vineyard and cellar, highlighting the authenticity of the grapes and their origin.
The Barbabecchi 2020 is made from Nerello Mascalese vines over 100 years old, grown on sandy, volcanic soils at an altitude of 900 meters. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral vessels, the wine emphasizes purity and elegance. It offers aromas of wild strawberries, dried flowers, and volcanic ash, with a lively minerality and refined tannins on the palate. Bright acidity and delicate red fruit flavors make this a wine of extraordinary finesse.
