From the historic vineyards of Castiglione Falletto in Piedmont, Tenuta Montanello's Nebbiolo 22 showcases the essence of the Nebbiolo grape. Winemaker Alberto Racca combines traditional methods with modern techniques to produce a wine that reflects the unique terroir of the region. He's not interested in notoriety: his wines do not need awards to be considered great wines. From a document from 1895 it emerges that his current winery was the first Social Cooperative in all Langhe area as it was the seat of Castiglione Falletto social winery. The winery counts 11 hectares in a single plot with south/west exposure at an altitude of 250 - 300 meters.
The estate's commitment to quality and respect for the land is evident in every bottle, offering a genuine expression of Piedmont's winemaking heritage.

Tenuta Montanello

In the heart of Barolo, Tenuta Montanello stands as both vineyard and family chronicle. Since 1864, when the estate first took root in Castiglione Falletto, generations have passed down these 15 hectares of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera. Today, the Racca family tends the vines with the same devotion as their ancestors, working organically and harvesting by hand. Long macerations and patient aging in large Slavonian oak give life to powerful Barolos, born from over a century of continuity and care.
