Tenuta Patruno Perniola - Primitivo di Gioia del Colle 2019

Tenuta Patruno Perniola, located in the heart of the Apulian Murgia in Gioia del Colle, is a family-run winery with roots dating back to the early 1800s. Their commitment to preserving and showcasing the unique characteristics of the Primitivo grape is evident in their meticulous vineyard practices and traditional winemaking techniques.
The 1821 Primitivo Riserva 2019 is crafted from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in the Contrada Marzagaglia area, at an altitude of approximately 400 meters above sea level.
The wine ages in stainless steel for about 2-3 years and in French oak barrels for 8-12 months.
This Riserva presents an intense ruby red color and offers a bouquet of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish.
