Nicola, aka Pupo, has been one of our favorite winemakers for his wise, genuine and sincere insights about not only the terroir of his region but also the aesthetics which have changed in the landscape and architecture.  He also balances the traditions of Italy with the influences the US has brought here - including his lovely wife Sarah.  

Pupo's motto is to find the synergy in everything, which he has beautifully done with this wine which balances fruitiness with structure, complexity and tannins. A cru selection of Aglianico and a reminder that wines need no classifications to stunning.  We believe he is the future of Irpinia and Vincenzo Nardone has been a family run winery since 1810. Only 100 cases produced.
