Because we prefer the shortcut of synthetic products, capable of giving us wines that are always clean, perfect, homologated and non-identifying'. They mimic industrialists using chemicals and synthetic fertilizers and then retire to terraced houses, pale imitations of the American homes they see in television programs on their giant plasma screens.

Nicola, aka Pupò, has been one of our favorite winemakers for his wise, genuine and sincere insights about not only the terroir of his region but also the aesthetics which have changed in the landscape and architecture.  This is also a family-run winery since 810.  Nicola balances the traditions of Italy with the influences the US has brought here - including his lovely wife Sarah.  Enjoy this fresh and sincere Aglianico which deeply respects the territory.  Only 160 cases produced per year.
