Cantina Possa, led by winemaker Samuele Bonanini, is renowned for preserving the traditional winemaking practices of the Cinque Terre region. His vineyards, characterized by sandstone soils and an average vine age of 55 years, yield grapes with concentrated flavors and balanced acidity. The unique microclimate, influenced by maritime breezes and lots of sunlight, enhances the aromatic profile of the fruit.
The wine is made from local varieties, harvested manually and fermented with indigenous yeasts. It's structured but lifted, with natural acidity and a subtle saline edge shaped by the proximity to the sea

Azienda Agricola Possa

Samuele Bonanini, is the passionate soul behind Azienda Agricola Possa, perched on ancient terraced slopes high above the sea in Riomaggiore, in Cinque Terre. Founded in 2004, he chose the arduous path of heroic viticulture— hand-rebuilding dry-stone terraces, restoring nearly lost native grape varieties, and tending a tiny vineyard with boundless determination and organic care. In a place where machines can’t reach and each vine requires intimate attention, he made the daring decision not to chase markets, but to bring to life the identity of his land. He reclaimed traditions with acacia, chestnut, and even cherry-wood barrels, revived local passito styles, kept bees, and cultivated lemon trees. His wines don’t just express terroir—they embody love, tenacity, and an elemental connection to a landscape that leaps toward the sea.
