Massera 2016 is a Merlot from the Cru “Massera” in Predappio, where vines are selected for low yields and careful farming to express the complexity of the site. After gentle destemming and a controlled fermentation with pump-overs and délestage for balanced extraction, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barriques and at least 12 months in bottle. The result is a deep red with integrated balsamic and mineral notes, supported by firm, silky tannins and strong ageing potential.

Condè was founded by Francesco Condello in Predappio, an area historically linked to Sangiovese in Romagna. The estate works hillside vineyards rooted in clay-limestone soils, focusing on understanding how this territory shapes the grape over time. The project is built around careful vineyard work and long aging in large oak, aiming to give Sangiovese the time it needs to settle and define itself. Condè represents a focused effort to reframe Predappio as a serious, site-driven zone for Sangiovese.
