Luca Marenco is part of a new generation of winemakers in Dogliani, Piedmont, working with a deep sense of place and a respect for tradition. He started his own winery in 2015, and today he works ten hectares between Barolo and Novello, with a simple idea: making wines that speak clearly of their variety, place and vintage. His Barbera 2023 follows this approach, fermented and aged in steel to preserve the grape’s natural freshness and energy, and it's juicy, generous and direct.

A youthful torchbearer of his family’s vineyards between Barolo and Novello, Luca Marenco planted not only vines—but a belief in wines that speak simply and sincerely of the Langhe. He works organically, across Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and the rare white Nas-cëtta. Each release—from a bright Dolcetto to a nuanced Barolo—is less a declaration and more a quiet invitation: to taste the land, season, and a heart deeply rooted in Langhe’s soil.
