Luca Marenco is part of a new generation of winemakers in Dogliani, Piedmont, working with a deep sense of place and a respect for tradition.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts, followed by aging in large oak casks that allow the structure to develop without overwhelming the fruit. Marenco works on a small scale, favoring balance and proportion over power. The 2020 vintage shows clarity and tension, with the firm structure typical of Barolo and a profile shaped more by site and season than by cellar intervention.
