In the Langhe, wine is woven into everyday life, from vineyard-covered hills to tables where lunch can happily stretch into dinner. This selection introduces three grapes that help define this corner of Piedmont. Simone Scaletta’s Autin ’d Madama brings the fragrance and structure of Nebbiolo from Monforte d’Alba, with wild roses and red fruit inviting you into the glass. Francesco Borgogno’s Dolcetto offers a generous welcome: fruity, dry and rounded, with a pleasantly bitter cherry finish. Luca Marenco’s Barbera completes the table, aged in steel to let the grape’s lively character speak. Three local favourites, best discovered with good food, good company and time to enjoy them.
