Vulcano Whites

Vulcanic soil has an imprint on wine that once you've tasted can never go back. Ubriaco sulla luna is grown on the north-east slope of the incredibly active Etna volcano in sicily, made from carricante and given time. Insumma is Catalanesca grown on the still active Vesuvius volcano, the same one that burried Pompei many hundreds of years ago, an unusual and rare autoctonuos grape full of surprises. Dolium comes from the biggest inactive vulcano in Italy, just out side of Rome in the Castelli Romani area, older soild and extremely complex wine
