From the Val d'Orcia in Tuscany, Tenuta di Trinoro's Le Cupole is a harmonious blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The vineyards, planted over two decades ago at altitudes between 400 and 600 meters, benefit from the region's unique microclimate and soil composition. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with a 15-day maceration, followed by aging: eight months in second to fourth-passage barriques and ten months in concrete. This meticulous process results in a wine that balances intensity and elegance, reflecting the estate's commitment to quality.

Andrea Franchetti stumbled upon a wild patch of clay and gravel in Val d'Orcia and, in the early 1990s, transformed it into a temple of Cabernet Franc. Naming it Tenuta di Trinoro, he planted vines densely, row by row, by hand, channeling a bold Bordeaux spirit into a land with no winemaking history—yet one rich in possibility. His wines are pure, deeply textured and destined for longevity. Today, his son Benjamin, carries forth that dream with reverence and precision: mapping soils, refining cellar techniques, and extending bottle aging to honor his father’s daring legacy.
