Valter Mattoni - Cose Cose 2023

Cose Cose is the kind of red wine that doesn’t shout—it whispers, but you hear it clearly. Made from Sangiovese grown on the sunlit slopes near Valter Mattoni’s home in the Marche, this wine is the result of simple things done with care. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in steel and barrique. The result is light, direct wine, with a long finish. It's the wine you want to open on a weekday evening, with a few slices of salami or a plate of pasta al pomodoro.
