Valter Mattoni - Trebbien 2022

Trebbien is Valter Mattoni’s ode to Trebbiano—a grape often dismissed, but here brought back to life with character and conviction. Grown on the gentle hills of the Marche, not far from the Adriatic Sea, the grapes come from a small plot farmed without chemicals or shortcuts. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, and the wine rests in stainless steel, unfiltered and unfined. But more than a technical choice, this is about respect—for the grape, for the land, and for those who drink it. Trebbien is lively and generous, slightly salty, with a softness that makes it both versatile and deeply satisfying. A white wine that surprises, without ever trying too hard.
