Villa Job is a small estate in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, founded by Alessandro and Lavinia. The vineyards are farmed organically on a friable mix of marl and sandstone that defines this part of Friuli. In the cellar, the approach is artisanal and hands-off: spontaneous fermentations, long macerations for whites when needed, and aging in neutral vessels.
Schioppettino is a historic local variety, known for its peppery edge and firm backbone. The 2022 vintage shows clarity and energy, with the natural tension and spice typical of the variety.

Villa Job is a family-run estate in Pozzuolo del Friuli, in the Collio zone of Friuli Venezia Giulia, where Alessandro and Lavinia returned to the land after careers in business and marketing to dedicate themselves fully to viticulture. Farming follows organic principles, and over the years they have embraced a holistic approach to the vineyard - favoring cover crops, spontaneous undergrowth and minimal intervention to support soil life and biodiversity. Work is done manually, often allowing the vine’s natural rhythms to guide decisions, including later harvest dates to achieve full phenolic maturity.
